Description

Primary Job Function

This person is responsible for assembling and attaching components and hardware in a prescribed manner using power or hand tools, and other equipment to complete units or sub-assemblies at a bench, conveyor line, or on the floor, check for proper fit or adjustment and make necessary adjustments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reads travelers, prints and assembly documentation
• Assembles parts or sub-parts using power or hand tools; checks for proper fit, makes adjustments.
• Performs visual inspection of completed assembly
• May assist with packaging and shipping or other production areas as needed
• May instruct and direct less experienced operators
• Cleans and organizes workstation
• Maintains tools
• Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment .
• Keeps work area clean and organized
• Performs other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

Starting pay for this position is $18 / hour - Higher Pay Available Based on Experience!

Our pay ranges are guided by the discipline, level, and experience required. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on additional factors, including desired skills / technical competency, relevant experience, and advanced education / training.

Signing Bonus

To welcome you to our team and show our commitment to your success, we are offering a signing bonus of $500.00! This bonus will be awarded in two installments, 50% upon successful completion of probationary period and the balance paid upon completion of one year of service with IMC.
